Mortgage Matcher Inc ("we", "us", "our") operates MortgageMatcher.net, the Mortgage Match Maker, matching Area Managers, Branch Managers and Loan Officers with the perfect company for them. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We take confidentiality seriously because our candidates are usually employed while they talk to us.

Information we collect

We collect the information you give us directly, which for candidates typically includes:

• Name, email address, mobile phone number, and city and state
• Your NMLS number and the states you are licensed in
• Employment history, current employer, title, and time in the industry
• Production history and compensation structure
• Your answers about what is and is not working in your current role, and what you want in your next one
• Any companies you tell us not to contact on your behalf

For hiring companies, we collect business contact details and information about the roles you are trying to fill.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring page, through standard web analytics.

How we use your information

• To understand what you are looking for and identify companies that may fit
• To contact you by phone, email, or text about your search
• To present you to a hiring company only after you approve that specific company
• To provide market and compensation context to you
• To meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

• With a hiring company, only with your prior approval. We do not submit your name, resume, or details to any employer until you tell us to submit to that specific employer. We never contact your current employer.
• With service providers who help us operate, such as our CRM, email and messaging platforms, and hosting providers. They may only use the information to provide services to us.
• When required by law, such as in response to a subpoena or lawful request from a government authority.

As stated above, mobile phone numbers and text messaging consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging

If you give consent, we may send you text messages about your job search and, separately if you opt in to it, about new opportunities and industry updates. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any service we provide, and you can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP. Full details are in our Terms and SMS Terms.

Your choices

• Text messages: reply STOP to any message to stop them. Reply HELP for help.
• Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Access, correction, or deletion: email us at [email protected] and we will honor the request as required by applicable law.
• Withdraw from a search: tell us and we stop. Any company you name is permanently off limits.

How long we keep it

We keep candidate information for as long as it is useful for your search and any future one, unless you ask us to delete it, and as long as required for legal and recordkeeping purposes.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you give us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is for mortgage industry professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the site.
